Yo dude, just get a t3i and then spend all the money you can on getting really nice lenses. Everyone says this, and it's because it's a good idea; bodies get outdated every 1.5 years or so, but solid lenses will last for 10yr and retain most of their value. The t3i has the same video quality as the 7D, and has image quality that's still in the same ballpark. There are less "pro" features, but sometimes it's nice to learn on something a bit more limited so then when you upgrade your skills really fill into the new potential that the equipment gives you. If you are looking for just a bit more than the t3i has, go with the 60d. Again, similar video quality, but slightly better photo features.
